I am running a loop around my neighborhood for my five-mile runs. I am only running one way currently, because if I run the other way I have to end on the mountain (aka Blinn Hill). So which is worse, finishing on a huge hill or hitting several small, steep hills through out the run?
I would go for several smaller ones for now. I personally do interval training. So several small intervals, in my mind, would be better than one big one.
Two cents. : 3

Hey Sam, I looked for you on the net because I missed this post of yours on my reader. I think you should do several small hills. Can you post pictures of these small hills ? I would love to see them.
Sam, as an aside, I am trying to walk rounds around my educational institution’s corridors, and so far I have done about 6 rounds, 3 minutes to each round. Each round may come up to 1/2 a kilometer. I call that a big achievement for a couch potato like me. How’s the weather doing ?

That is great Susie! Anything off the couch is wonderful. Yes, I will be doing the smaller hills until I get up the nerve to go the other way π Weather suddenly became quite warm, but I am running early in the morning to try to beat the heat
